Our covers for IKEA sofas and chairs from Kaya collection can be hand or machine washed (max. 30°C - gentle process). Do not iron. Do not tumble dry, nor bleach. Do not dry clean. At the production stage, the fibers of Kaya fabrics are covered with the special coating, which creates an advanced protective barrier against stains. Thanks to this, all stains can be removed quickly and efficiently with water, soap and microfibre cloth (more information may be found in our Guide).

Is the fabric machine washable?

Most fabrics are machine washable at 30°C. Care instructions depend on the selected material and are provided on each fabric page. Some fabrics also offer additional properties such as easy-clean or water-repellent finishes.

Which fabrics are best for homes with pets?

Our scratch-resistant fabrics are Kaya, Modena, Strong, Elegance and Performance Velvet (abrasion resistance from over 45,000 to over 100,000 Martindale cycles).

How long does delivery of fabric by the meter take?

The fabric is cut to order. The estimated delivery time is shown at checkout. Maximum delivery time is 14 business days.

Can I order fabric samples before purchasing?

Yes. Fabric samples are free and show the colour, texture and quality of each fabric before you order. You can order fabric samples here.

Do I have to pay import fees or additional taxes?

No. The price shown at checkout is the final amount you pay. Any applicable import duties or additional taxes are covered by SOFERIA.
